At Salt and Light we take seriously the role of the Church in enabling and equipping Christians to carry on the Great Commission, both in our community and abroad. Salt and Light supports two of its members as they serve the Lord’s Kingdom abroad in various capacities. We would like to introduce to you Dick and Susan Mueller, and Janeen Mills.

Dick & Susan Mueller

Dick Mueller assists the management of the translation project finances in Asia for Wycliffe Bible Translators. He is also the regional supervisor for translation teams in Canada and the U.S. Most recently, he assisted in the development of a Hutterite children’s storybook translation. You can read about that story here. Before this work, Dick was a translator in northeast Alaska. Dick also serves as a ruling elder for the Salt and Light church. His wife, Susan Mueller retired from Wycliffe Bible Translators after 50 years of missionary work for the Kingdom of God.

Janeen Mills

Janeen is currently a missionary serving with International Student Ministries of New Zealand. The mission of ISMNZ is to help “International Students in New Zealand become life-long followers of Jesus Christ, equipping & enabling them to reach their communites & nations for Him.”

Janeen best sums up her ministry by glorifying God: “Nothing much about me because it’s all about HIM! And in my wildest imagination about what is best for me, I am living the BEST I had never imagined possible. Losing your life for Jesus’ sake is to find life!”
