The Role of the Church in Mental Health Issues

Hope Coalition will be coming to present to our youth & adults testimonies, resources and hope to understand depression, how it feels and how it can be dealt with. There will be two teenagers and adult(s) who will share with us and help us understand how we can reach out to peers and help someone going through rough times.

Statistics are staggering when it comes to people who are living and coping with mental illness both inside as well as outside the church. These illnesses can have a devastating impact on an individual’s life, family, work, and too often may lead to the ultimate tragedy…suicide.

Times: Meal provided prior to presentation at 6pm; Program starts at 6:45pm; Discussion 7:45-8:15pm

A donation jar will be at the food table to cover costs of babysitting and food. Donations are happily accepted, but as anonymous donation. We do not want anyone burdened.
