I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you invited me into your home. I was naked and you gave me clothing. I was sick and you cared for me. I was in prison and you visited me. ~ Matthew 25:35-36 NLT
Educational Series:
How should the people of Christ love those in prison?
The Role of the Church in Mental Health Issues
Shekinah Christian Ministries volunteers minister to men, women and teens in Colorado, Wyoming and Alaskan (housed in CO) prisons as well as county jails.
THE RESULT:
Some of the inmates will never leave prison, but their lives are changed and they become missionaries to people who are largely unreachable in our society.
This Friday Evening the Missions & Ministry Committee Presents:
Shekinah Prison Ministry Information with Roger Johnson
Roger will be sharing to equip us on how to share the hope of Jesus Christ with those in prisons, jails, or detention centers. Join us to learn about prison ministry and how you might become involved in bringing the gospel to those incarcerated. Bring family and friends – and your heart for the lonely and lost.
“Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry.
The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.” Psalm 146:7 (NKJV)
